PRINCIPAL STAFF
Robert Forrar has 35 years of professional experience as an architect, planner and designer. His diverse experience includes data center, office, recreation, retail, parking, light industrial and custom residential projects. Mr. Forrar is recognized for creative and functional design solutions, and has been responsible for a number of the firm's award winning projects, including the Mercy Hospital Parking Structure in Sacramento, Serrano El Dorado Development in El Dorado Hills, One Capitol Mall Office Building and Parking Structure and 400 R Street Office Building and Parking Structure, both in Downtown Sacramento. Recent project experience includes the Serrano Information Center Expansion and the Kain Office/Retail Building, both in El Dorado Hills, the Winchester Golf Course Clubhouse in Meadow Vista, and the Park Center II Office Building in Sacramento. He earned a Bachelor of Architecture degree from California Polytechnic State University in 1970, and has been licensed in California since 1973.
Hilton Williams has 35 years of professional experience as an architect, planner and designer. He has been responsible for numerous healthcare, office, institutional, mixed-use and retail projects for both public and private clientele. Under his direction, FWA has received award-winning recognition for excellence in planning, architecture and interior design including, most recently, the Gold Pointe Corporate Center in Rancho Cordova. Recent project experience includes the Turner Volvo Automobile Dealership in Sacramento, Avalon Assisted Living Facility in Sonoma, California Teachers Association Governmental Relations Office Building in Downtown Sacramento, and Sacramento Heart & Vascular Medical Associates Expansion, Expo Pointe Office Park, and Commerce Station Mixed-Use Development, all in Sacramento. Mr. Williams received a Bachelor of Architecture degree from California Polytechnic State University in 1970 and earned his California architectural license in 1974. He is NCARB certified.
Greg Neiswender joined Forrar Williams Architects in 1981, and currently serves as the Director of Architecture. With 31 years of professional experience, Mr. Neiswender's major strengths include contract administration, code and accessibility compliance, quality control of construction documents, production and consultant coordination, and construction administration. Recent experience includes serving as the on-site Construction Administration Manager for the design-build team completing the State of California Capitol East End Project, a 2.1 million square foot LEED-certified office complex located in Downtown Sacramento. Mr. Neiswender was also part of the design-build team responsible for the completion of the Solano County Government Center and Parking Structure project in Downtown Fairfield. Mr. Neiswender received a Bachelor of Architecture degree from California Polytechnic State University in 1974, and earned his California architectural license in 1977. He is an active member of the International Conference of Building Officials (ICBO) and is NCARB certified.
Brian Wickert is the Director of Design at Forrar Williams Architects. Since joining the firm in 1990, he has served in planning, architectural design, interior design and space planning roles focusing on healthcare, office, retail, mixed-use and institutional facilities. Mr. Wickert is proficient in both manual and computerized design techniques, and has considerable knowledge and experience in the translation of architectural and interior design concepts to construction documents utilizing AutoCAD. Recent experience includes the City of Suisun Community Center, the Gold Pointe Corporate Center Master Plan and Office Complex in Rancho Cordova, the Avalon Assisted Living Facility in Sonoma, the Point West Office Building and Nationwide Insurance Tenant Interiors in Sacramento, Stone Creek II Office Complex in Rancho Cordova, Highland Park Master Plan and the Fairfield-Suisun Unified School District Administrative Office Building in Fairfield. He received a Masters of Architecture Degree from University of Nebraska in 1989, and earned his California architectural license in 1994.
